DCMS and the National Citizen Service Trust will co-fund the next cohort of the UK Year of Service, providing placements to at least 100 young people. The UK Year of Service is a unique opportunity that places 18 – 24 year olds into socially beneficial job roles, connecting them to paid work that pays back, and provides them with wraparound support.

Placement partners will design and deliver opportunities for young people who are furthest from the labour market, with a particular focus on young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET). The next cohort’s placements will be across the North West, North East and Yorkshire & Humber.
