As part of the regional workforce strategy Kirklees Youth Alliance have started a Voluntary Register of Youth Work Practitioners in Kirklees, so that they can share opportunities more effectively and understand what the current workforce looks like. They are encouraging all professional youth workers, youth support workers, youth work students at all levels, qualified sports coaches, arts practitioners, play workers and volunteers.

They are also supporting the campaign to raise the awareness of youth work as a career option (especially to those not already in the sector) by using the hashtag #ChooseYouthWork in their social media posts.  #ChooseYouthWork
