Embedded within our emotional wellbeing hub, we are looking to recruit a project worker for our Girls@HOME programme, a new project supporting young women aged 16-25, to improve their mental health, to better understand themselves and make positive decisions about their future.

The project will offer both 1-2-1 and group work support for young women.

Our holistic model and youth work approach means you will be able to support young women with a variety of needs

Reports to: HOME Programme Co-ordinator

Contract type: Funded by Pilgrim Trust for 3 years.

Location: Ground Floor, Wellington House, Market Street, Barnsley, S70 1WA

(Temporary base, permanent location YMCA, Barnsley)

Hours: 22.5 hours per week [FTE 37 – working hours negotiable)

Practical Requirements: Ability to work flexibly around needs of the service and young people.

Salary: Starting Salary: Scale 22 £30,105.99 to Scale 24 £31,884.86 Pro Rata

Pension: 8% employer contribution

Leave entitlement: 38 days leave, including bank holidays (pro rata)
