Young people, who have experienced the care system, often face significant challenges and are less likely to achieve positive outcomes in education and employment compared to their peers.
Employers are invited to join DWP and Barnardo’s on for a webinar where we will explore how they can support care leavers into meaningful employment and provide an inclusive environment that unlocks potential.
The webinar will help employers to build knowledge about:

• The issues & stigma faced by care leavers.
• How DWP and Government are helping care leavers prepare for work.
• DWP initiatives that can help employers support care leavers move towards and into employment.
• The Care Leaver Covenant and how to become a signatory.
• Barnardo’s employment support programmes and employer awareness training.
• Insight from Amazon on how they are collaborating with Barnardo’s to help care leavers thrive in the workplace.
