WY&H Youth Collective works in partnership with the West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) (formally the WY Harrogate Health Care Partnership). The YWU facilitate this group on behalf of the WYICB, bringing together young representatives from youth organisations and individuals interested in promoting and creating positive change.

They meet to work on issues related to the health and wellbeing of young people living and learning in West Yorkshire. Over the past year this has included young people’s mental health, period poverty, violence against women and girls, being a young carer, the environment, isolation and loneliness.  This year, they will be working with youth projects to understand why Health and Wellbeing was the priority for young people in the 2024 Make Your Mark vote and what they can do to support young people.

we know exam time can be stressful, so we have created an interactive map, with links to where you can get support

In January we hosted a day – All Things West Yorkshire, to find out what issues are important to young people living in West Yorkshire.  Over 70 young people attended, and talked with 12 decision makers, sharing their concerns and ideas of how to make things better.
