Friday 28th November saw the YWU and representatives from 14 of the local authority areas gather in Doncaster. We were joined (on the big screen) by DCMS who after a short presentation took questions from participants. There was time for networking and conversations with key facilitators bringing their knowledge and insights on the Local Youth Transformation Pilot and the Chane programme.

An informative day was had by all in a space that promoted collaboration and connection that led to actions.

Our next event is for all those that work in faith-based youth work settings, where we will be joined by the DCMS (the first in-person event following the NYS launch) whilst we explore the National Youth Strategy, what it means for young people and our work.
