The Women’s Diversion Fund Grant by the Ministry of Justice and HM Prisons & Probation Service is now live. This is an investment of around £26m between January 2027 and March 2029, in the form of grants for voluntary and community sector organisations. The purpose is to divert women (aged 18+) away from further contact with the Criminal Justice System (CJS), with a particular emphasis on reducing the number of women in prison.

Applicants must be a voluntary sector organisation(s) or consortium and shall be a registered charity, an exempt charity (as per the charities Act 2011, Schedule 3) or a social enterprise.
