the Community Climate Conference 2026 focussing on climate action in York and North Yorkshire. This is shaping up to be a terrific and inspirational event, with some high-profile guest speakers – including Nigel Topping (Chair of the UK’s Climate Change Committee), Rachael Maskell MP, Jenny Kent (portfolio holder for Environment and Climate Change for the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority), David Hugill (NYC Climate Champion) – as well as a “marketplace” session and a great selection of workshops led by Coalition member groups and partner groups from York.

We would welcome participation from younger people from Yorkshire and are able, if needed, to cover their travel expenses.
