Following research and interaction with members of the movement, the Language Group (Matt Bowker, Shahda Khan, Loveness Scott, Sondos Bowker, Andy Durma and Menisha Gela) have created an Anti Racism Language Guide. You can view it here and it will soon be available on our website.

This guide draws on a three-round Delphi study carried out with NEARC’s panel of expert practitioners working across anti-racism in the North East. It sets out the terminology the panel recommends, explains the caveats that come with it, and records the one statement on which the panel could not agree.
