Connect Before You Correct

Behind every switched off, angry or silent young person there’s a reason nobody has asked about yet. This book is about finding it before you try to fix the behaviour. It’s for the adults still in the room. Parents, teachers, support staff, anyone holding the line on a hard day. One teacher did that for me and it changed the direction of my life. Most of the young people I meet never get that moment, and I want to change the odds.

I Stand Connected

This book is for young people themselves. At fourteen I was hiding everything and nobody knew. I would have put this book down after two pages if it talked at me, so it doesn’t. It’s for the young person sat at the back who’s already decided their story is over. It isn’t. Every story holds a purpose, and this one is about finding theirs.

During October, in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Day, I’ll be hosting a series of online corporate talks at a 50% discounted rate to help us fund as many books as possible for schools across the UK. Additionally, as part of the book launch, I’m offering 10 fully funded slots for secondary schools in Sheffield.
