Erasmus+ offers funding not only for pupils, teachers and school leaders, but also to young people, youth workers and youth organisations. You can see further information about the youth projects here.
The first funding call for the 2027 programme year is expected to open in November 2026, with application deadlines expected in February/March 2027. Given the significant funding available for youth projects in 2027 (over £30m), youth organisations should think ambitiously about how Erasmus+ can support their young people, staff and wider strategic objectives. We encourage you to begin preparation now by:
- Signing up to receive British Council marketing assets through the multiplier form and raising awareness of the Erasmus+ youth opportunities among your networks and young people
- Signing up to the British Council’s newsletter and attending their webinars and partner-finding events.
- Familiarising yourself with the Erasmus+ website and available funding opportunities.
- Considering whether you would like to develop an application and who you would like to develop it with to maximise participation and impact across multiple organisations.
Call for proposals for international one-off youth co-operation activities in 2027 (2027.C5.A)
The activities that can be supported through these grants are international meetings of young people, for example youth camps, seminars, conferences, training courses or study visits.
Deadline for submission: 1 October 2026, at 23:59 CET.
Call for proposals for international long-term youth co-operation projects in 2027 (2027.C6.B)
The grants will support projects that include a combination of international meetings and other activities, such as campaigns, advocacy projects, production of educational and other resources, research, support for local activities or regional initiatives.
Deadline for submission: 1 October 2026, at 23:59 CET.
