What is Erasmus+?
Erasmus+ is a European programme that helps young people learn new skills, gain experience, meet people from other countries and take part in international activities. These can include youth exchanges, volunteering, training and projects with young people from different countries – this strand of the programme is known as Erasmus+ Youth. Funding is available to help people take part.
The UK is preparing to rejoin Erasmus+ in 2027, creating new opportunities for young people.
You do not need to know anything about Erasmus+ or have travelled abroad before to take part in this survey.
Why are we asking for your views?
We want to understand what young people across the UK think about international opportunities: what interests you, what might encourage or prevent participation, how opportunities could be made more inclusive and how you would like to help shape Erasmus+ Youth in the UK.
Your answers will help the British Council and its partners understand young people’s priorities and inform how future opportunities are developed, promoted and delivered.
