£6.3 million England-wide programme aimed at supporting community projects that improve men’s health and reduce inequalities. The scheme forms part of the UK Government’s Men’s Health Strategy for England and is delivered in partnership with the Department of Health and Social Care, Movember and People’s Health Trust. The fund is designed to support initiatives that enhance the physical, mental and social wellbeing of men and boys aged 16 and over. Projects should prioritise those living in disadvantaged areas or experiencing poorer health outcomes and aim to reach men who are less likely to engage with traditional health services.
Activities can include mental health support, social connection initiatives, and practical interventions addressing housing, employment or financial insecurity.
Grants are intended for voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations, with a particular focus on smaller grassroots groups embedded in local communities. Projects that provide support during key life transitions such as becoming a father, losing employment, or entering retirement are also eligible.
The programme emphasises prevention, early intervention and delivery in trusted community settings, while supporting the development of an evidence base for effective approaches to men’s health. Applications are expected to open during summer 2026.
