The NSPCC has published a news story on children in the UK living in poverty, looking at the findings of a poll undertaken by 2,000 adults. A YouGov survey commissioned by the Children’s Charities Coalition found that 78% of respondents would support the introduction of an End Child Poverty Bill. The Coalition, which includes the NSPCC, is calling for the introduction of a new child poverty Bill and a cross-government mission that tackles the issues facing babies, children and young people, and champions their education, health and wellbeing outcomes.
