A collective of more than 150 organisations supporting young people experiencing homelessness staged a protest outside parliament this week calling on the government to do more to tackle the issue.   They are calling on ministers to ensure action to help young people without a home or at risk of losing their home is included in its forthcoming strategy to end homelessness. This needs to focus on action in schools and communities to prevent young people becoming homeless in schools as well as review support councils can offer.
