TTTHT Autism Act 2009 is a law for and about autistic people in England.

The Act says the Government must produce an autism strategy, backed up by statutory guidance for the NHS and local authorities.

The House of Lords asked our Committee to look at:

• how well the Autism Act has been working
• how it could work better in the future, and
• what the current autism strategy has achieved.
