The Youth and Expert Advisory Groups shaped Youth Matters: Your National Youth Strategy.

The Youth Advisory Group (YAG) are thirteen young people appointed by the government. Members have lived and professional experience in advocacy, violence prevention, social mobility and mental health. The group guides the government on how to effectively engage with young people and helped to create Youth Matters: Your National Youth Strategy.

The Expert Advisory Group (EAG) made up of advisors with professional expertise related to young people. It sits alongside the YAG to help guide the national conversation with young people. The group provided expertise and challenged thinking throughout the Strategy’s development
