After the amazing success with our first National Lottery Reaching Communities bid for the Next Gen Dewsbury programme, KYA central team is gearing up to make a further announcement about more funding coming into the sector!
At the end of June, we will be launching our Core Memories Programme aimed at 14-25 year olds which will see another £360,000 investment into the community youth sector in Kirklees. We are absolutely delighted to be part of this consortium with the YPF Trust working with national funder, the Henry Smith Foundation.
The full £360,000 will be distributed in 2 grants programmes open to KYA member organisations working with 4 priority groups:
– LGBTQ+ young people
– care experienced young people
– those at risk of, or currently, excluded from school (including those who have “self-excluded”)
– learning disabled and neurodivergent young people
Watch out for the launch in late June!
