The Yorkshire Wildlife Trust launched Rivers to Reef earlier this month, a campaign to improve water quality and ecology in Yorkshire’s rivers and coastal waters.

Community groups and individuals are encouraged to take part in the Great UK Water blitz and test the water quality at different points along the river. The campaign highlights simple steps people can take at home to improve our waterways.

Rivers to Reef is a collaboration between Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, Aire Rivers Trust, Derwent Catchment Partnership, Yorkshire Water, North York Moors National Park Authority, Groundwork NE & Cumbria, Yorkshire Marine Nature Partnership and the Environment Agency.
