The project:

Between February and May we delivered a 10-session project with students from Kirklees College in Huddersfield. Across the sessions we co-created a suite of digital resources to help young people overcome health barriers preventing them transitioning into work.

Each participant identified a specific health barrier faced by young people and then created an episode on this subject. Over the 10 sessions, they researched the subject, developed a script, and then hosted an episode that involved interviewing an expert guest from the mental health charity Invictus Wellbeing. The project was concluded with a celebration lunch which provided an opportunity to play the episodes and reflect on the fantastic journey that participants had undertaken.
