AN OSCAR winner has spoken to aspiring actors in York as part of his theatre residency in the city.

Oscar winning actor Gary Oldman met with 40 aspiring young thespians, between the ages of 11-18, last Thursday (May 15) to talk about his career and share advice with the members of York Theatre Royal’s Youth Theatre programme.
