Having launched the WYCA Child First Framework, placing children at the heart of decision making.  It puts an emphasis on meaningful collaboration, whether this be through co-production, co-design, or consultation to ensure that our vision for the future aligns with our children’s.

This framework is for all professionals who make decisions that may impact the lives of children across the county, either directly or indirectly. This will involve everyone from executive officers to frontline workers.

Professionals can join a Child First Network, which will give the opportunity to share learning and best practice from others. You will also gain practical support to embedding the toolkit in your work from members of our team.
