This is a survey for everyone on our new Climate and Environment Plan.

WYC have pledged to be a net zero carbon region by 2038. the ambition is to achieve a sustainable West Yorkshire and to make our lives greener. They need a plan to help us get there together.

The Climate and Environment Plan 2021 – 2024 has helped us to deliver projects, programmes and actions to tackle the climate emergency. Now, we need a new plan to take us to 2038, with detailed actions for the period 2025 to 2028.

WYCA want you to help shape our emerging Climate and Environment Plan for 2025 – 2028. In our draft plan, we set out the areas we should prioritise and actions we need to take over the next four years. We also explain our longer term vision for reaching net zero by 2038. We need to hear from you to make sure we are prioritising the right things so that we can reduce our regional carbon emissions. Your feedback will help to shape our final plan for 2025 to 2028.
