This project will address online child sexual exploitation and abuse (OSCEA) which is a significant challenge, as well as supporting how the police and the local community work in partnership to respond and prevent online child sexual victimisation (OCSV).
- This demonstration project is following a two-year project in a pilot study of another local authority. A wide range of local stakeholders co-designed 11 priorities that have formed the basis of shared quality standards to improve responses to OCSEA locally.
- We aim to take these standards and develop a model for West Yorkshire and assess how these standards apply locally, as well agree a set of indicators for the standards.
What would we need from you?
We would like you and/or your colleagues commitment to attending a one day workshop, a number of short virtual meetings and a half day presentation near the end of the project. The project involves co-designing with partners of a champions model, a set of indicators or a self assessment/evaluation tool/audit; creating a guide or information sharing pack that can be cascaded nationally and internationally.
