My pockets,  worked with young people for Youth Aspire Connect in Hull to create this animation based on their real life experiences of racism and racial prejudice. These are true stories that have effected everyone who took part.
The young people are part of an anti racist campaign group wanted to make something that gave a positive message, that empowered people to challenge racism and bought people together. They wanted to make a difference and the film is full of tips and advice on how to challenge racism both in the classroom and in the wider world.
We want teachers, schools, pupils and students to watch the film and make it apart of conversations about racism. The group has also written an Anti-Racism Policy for schools that we hope will be adopted across Hull, Yorkshire and beyond.
