As we start Bursary round 6 support Youth Work Practice Training, it felt appropriate to celebrate the last 5 years of bursary support to the youth sector and to Celebrate Youth Work – its diversity and impact.
Over 300 learners and their organisations have benefited from this funding – ranging from small voluntary lead voluntary organisations, to charities, schools, housing, the NHS, YOT, Local Authorities – everywhere where we find youth work and youth workers
In partnership with the #chooseyouthwork campaign, youth work providers, current and past beneficiaries of the bursary funding, learners, Funders, politicians and young people are coming together to show case their amazing work.
The event 1.30- 3 pm, Saturday 15th March – Holy Trinity Church, Boar Lane, Leeds, is open to everyone.
This is an open invitation to join YWU and #CYW as we celebrate youth work and your achievements.
Meet with peers, share experiences, and ask questions of what you could do next.
To book your place email us on theunit@youtworkunit.com (we just need to know how many cakes to order)
Opportunities available for you and /or organisation to share your stories and experiences of youth work.
