Last week we had the privilege to support members of RYCA (regional youth climate assembly) who hold the commissioner role for young people, on the Yorkshire and Humber Climate Commission, at their July meeting held in Sheffield. Prior to the meeting, members of the Commission visited the Green Estate, to hear about their mission and work, building resilient urban places where people and nature can thrive. Both the visit and meeting gave the opportunity for RYCA to deepen their understanding of the work of the Commission and how young people have a central role.
