On Saturday 14th September, 18 members of the YWU Youth Board met in Doncaster to update each other on local work and plan how they can support young people across the region to have their voices heard and take action.  Between the group, 4 different campaigns and event for the coming 6 months were planned.

Hearing what is happening locally, I was overwhelmed by the depth and variety of work being undertaken by young people, supported as ever by amazing youth voice workers.   Topics ranged from clearing up the environment, to increasing access to leisure and sport facilities, to working with the police and VRUs so young people feel safer, to encouraging young people to get enough sleep.

Thank you to all the young people and youth workers, for making positive change in our communities.
