We’re recruiting a Change Lead (Youth Sector) who will play a key role in helping commissioners and funders use evidence to strengthen youth provision and prevent children from becoming involved in violence.
This is a hands-on, impactful role where the person will work closely with partners across the country, develop practical tools and resources, and support real change in how services are commissioned and delivered. They’ll also be working closely with me, helping to drive forward our Youth Sector Practice Guidance at a national level.
We’re particularly keen to hear from people who:
- Understand the youth sector and local systems
- Have experience commissioning programmes in a local area
- Can build strong relationships with senior local authority leaders
- Have turned evidence or good practice into something people actually use
- Bring strong project management skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
Key details:
- Salary: £56,600
- Location: Central London (hybrid)
- Contract: 2 years
- Closing date: Thursday 23rd April at 12 noon
- Interviews: Week commencing 4th May 2026
At YEF, we’re here to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence by finding out what works and supporting others to put that evidence into practice. This role is all about making sure that evidence doesn’t sit on a shelf, but genuinely shapes decisions and improves outcomes for young people.
