5Rights is seeking enthusiastic young people between the ages of 13 to 17 who are based in the UK to help continue shaping our work over the next year regarding our project on technology used in the classroom.

We are looking for young people committed to promoting children’s rights, empowering their peers, and who are interested in talking about how technology is impacting your day-to-day life in the classroom and your every school day. Whether you’re based in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland, if you’re dedicated to making a positive impact for children in the digital world, we’d love for you to apply.

The EdTech Youth Advisory Board will meet for at least four core meetings on weekday evenings between October 2026 and July 2027 to contribute, collaborate and engage with the project, working directly with the 5Rights team in collaboration with and the Digital Futures for Children Centre, a research institute at the London School of Economics, teams to shape our research with from young people’s perspectives. We will also have additional optional meetings to focus on youth opportunities, capacity-building, and knowledge-sharing.
