You may already be aware of the ongoing UK Covid-19 Inquiry, which is exploring the response to the pandemic. The Inquiry has recently launched Module 8 to specifically look at the impact of the pandemic on children and young people across the UK. Given the vital role that children’s services played during this time, your experiences, as well as those of the young people, and the families you support, are incredibly important.

The Every Story Matters campaign invites young people, families, and professionals to anonymously share their experiences of the pandemic. This is a critical opportunity to help the Inquiry understand more about the challenges faced in children’s services. We believe that your insights will help shape future practices and protect future generations.

Every Story Matters is for those aged 18+. The Inquiry is also conducting a bespoke research project for those aged 9-22. The results of this will work alongside the stories shared via Every Story Matters to inform the Inquiry’s findings and recommendations. Your voice is important, and together, we can make a difference in informing this investigation. By sharing our stories, we can help shape recommendations for future generations.

All submissions are anonymous however, if anyone is interested in sharing their story publicly, they can contact Eli Cope (eli.cope@mcsaatchi.com) or Cillian Carton (cillian.carton@mcsaatchi.com) for further details.
