If you are 18 or over and would like to participate in consultations and surveys you could join the Leeds Citizens’ Panel. Leeds City Council runs the Citizens’ Panel to find out what people in Leeds think about a variety of topics and issues ranging from the Council budget and local events, through to Public Space Protection Orders and changes to highways and cycle lanes. There are currently over 2,600 people who take part in the Citizens’ Panel. However, the Panel is not currently as diverse as the population of Leeds and we’d really like to improve that. Consultation and engagement is about giving people access to information and the chance to have a greater say and influence over what happens in their community and the services they use. Sharing your views helps decision makers, Council leaders and elected members understand what is important to you. It’s vitally important that all groups are fairly represented and have their say on important issues and decisions in Leeds. Please consider joining the Leeds Citizens’ Panel to have the opportunity to take part in consultations and surveys. If you would like to join complete a short form here.
