NHS England has launched two new elearning resources to help teachers and schools increase their awareness and understanding of sickle cell and thalassaemia. Prevalence of these conditions is growing, affecting thousands of young people across England, and schools play a vital role in providing a nurturing and inclusive environment. The resources provide practical guidance, real‑life scenarios, animations and template care plans. To mark their launch, NHS England will host two webinars for teachers, providing an opportunity to find out more and ask questions. Join the Thalassaemia webinar on Tuesday 22 September and the Sickle Cell webinar on Tuesday 29 September.
