Care Advice Service’s newly enhanced online workshop offer, focussing on the rights and entitlements of care experienced young people-
we want to deliver more rights and entitlements support, via our Care Advice Service, to young people between the ages of 15 and 18; to help prepare them for that transitional moment, and to show that support should bridge and carry them positively and proactively into adulthood.
These free, interactive online workshops are delivered by our Care Advice Service, and cover:
- what young people should be getting in terms of support from their Local Authorities
- understanding Pathway Plans and the role of a Personal Advisor
- accessing and understanding their Local Offer
- advocacy support, and what to do if things aren’t going the way they should.
