Young NCB is the National Children’s Bureau’s young people’s advisory group for children and young people. It gives young people the opportunity to share their views on things that are important to them and shape the work we do to improve childhoods across the UK.
This exciting opportunity is open to:
- Young people aged 11-18
- Disabled young people and young people with special educational needs aged 11-24
- We especially welcome applications from young people aged 11-16, and those who are not already part of other advisory groups or boards.
No previous experience is needed, just a willingness to get involved, share ideas and make a difference!
What do YNCB do?
- Members attend 6 in-person meetings a year at our offices in London
- It is completely free to take part! All travel and expenses are covered.
- Members get vouchers for taking part
- Young people can develop valuable new skills and meet new people
- Members can share their views on issues that matter to them and help shape the work of a national charityMembers can share their views on issues that matter to them and help shape the work of a national charity
