Hot Topic discussion events are co-designed by Young NCB, focusing on current topics that matter to young people.

This event will take place on Wednesday 11th November, from 5.00 to 6.30 pm on Zoom.  

Young NCB recognises that Artificial Intelligence (AI), especially generative AI tools like ChatGPT, have become a large part of young people’s lives. Now more than ever, they think it is important that young people feel like they have the tools to use these technologies in a positive way.

Through this event, young people will have the opportunity to explore how AI is shaping their lives, develop their understanding of its opportunities and challenges, and contribute their perspectives on how AI can be used responsibly, safely and fairly for children and young people.

Young people who attend will join the conversation, be able to listen to other young people and also ask questions on the topic of AI. It will be a safe space for open and real conversation, where young people’s voices take centre stage.

This event is designed to create conversations between young people. Therefore, we kindly ask that professionals attend with the young people they support. Engagement materials, including conversation starters and activities, will be shared in advance to help groups prepare and participate fully.
