Applications are open for the Fair Education Alliance’s Youth Steering Group, which brings together 14 to 21 year olds to lead campaigns and influence education policy. Members also attend high-level meetings with senior MPs and government departments.

We are delighted to have twenty-six fantastic and passionate young people in the group, aged between 14-24, with diverse perspectives and lived experiences of the English education system and great ideas for how to make it fairer.

Following an incredible year for our Youth Steering Group – one in which members took on greater sector leadership than ever before – we are excited to open applications for the next cohort!

We are hosting three drop-ins on Zoom where you can come to find out more, ask questions or get help with your application. They are open to everyone, and you can join at any time during the hour. They are:
