We want to invite your young people, aged 11-18, to join the Youth Voice Network to promote voter registration among young people. I have a voice is commissioned by the Electoral Commission to undertake this work. This is a fantastic opportunity for young people to develop an understanding of politics and work collaboratively with others, regardless of prior experience in the field.
The young people who join us will participate in interactive workshops where they will learn about political engagement, work on creating materials to appeal to young people to understand how to register to vote and to support things like ‘Welcome to your Vote’ week, and the Electoral Commission in reaching more young people. Additionally, they will receive a gift voucher and a certificate for their time, while gaining valuable skills and experience for their CV, interviews, and personal statements.
We find that many young people feel they cannot be involved in politics because they cannot vote or don’t receive engaging civic education; however, we aim to change this by offering opportunities for youth engagement in politics. The Youth Voice Network is an excellent way to achieve this, and we would love to involve as many young people as possible.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
