1MM recruit and train volunteers to be mentors and then connect them with young people aged 14-25 years old, mostly via schools or youth groups. 1:1 mentoring sessions are for one hour, once a month, a mixture of face-to-face and online. They want mentors from diverse backgrounds and with a range of lived experiences. The only requirements is that mentors must have 5 years work experience (or 2 years post-grad) and a passion for supporting young people – no prior mentoring experience is needed.
