Youth Work Week is now less than six weeks away and we’re hoping to make this year’s campaign even bigger and better than previous years! All the information about how to get involved is on our Youth Work Week page.
In particular, we’re looking for any content youth clubs would like to submit in the run up to Youth Work Week to be featured on our Vision for the Future gallery. Take a look at the submission form here and get your videos and photos over to us as soon as possible, so we can showcase your young people’s voices on why their youth club matters to them and what their vision for youth work is.
This year we’ve also created a guidance document aimed at young people to help them feel empowered to engage with the campaign. Please share the link with the young people you work with or use it as a stimulus for your sessions in the run-up to planning your Youth Work Week activities.
Finally, if you can spare five minutes, please write to your local MP to ensure they recognise the vital role your provision plays in providing young people with opportunities to access a safe space, have fun, gain essential life skills and confidence for a brighter future. There’s a template letter on our Youth Work Week page to use as a starting point.
As ever, we’re looking forward to sharing all your shout outs to youth work and posts from your activities and events during Youth Work Week, so don’t forget to tag us on socials and use the #YouthWorkWeek and #YWW25 hashtags.
