The Electoral Commission is running a programme for educators, schools and colleges to work out the best way to educate young people about democracy, and to prepare them to cast their votes with confidence.

The programme will involve piloting new training, guidance and resources this academic year.

They are running a number of initiatives across the four nations, piloting resources for the Senedd and Scottish Parliament elections, developing a best practice framework for educators in England, and expanding existing provisions in Northern Ireland.
