QueerAF explores how large language models respond when the subject is Trans+ people, in a context where AI systems are rapidly becoming everyday sources of information. The article sets out why independent, community‑centred research on AI accuracy and harm is urgently needed, especially for minoritised communities that are already misrepresented.
