The Department for Education (DfE) has published a paper setting out its strategy for ensuring that all children who experience care in England are able to maintain and build enduring relationships that will support them through life. Aimed at local authorities and professionals supporting care-experienced people, the paper sets out the importance of enduring relationships and how the DfE will reform the care and leaving care systems to prioritise them. The paper includes calls for practitioners and leaders to consider how their work can help every child to leave care with a network of supportive relationships.
