It helps you put the foundations in place, track your progress and build stronger protection at your own pace

How does the toolkit connect to Cyber Essentials?

The Cyber Action Toolkit is a strong starting point for getting the basics right. If you want to ensure you are secure against common online threats and don’t have the expertise, a Cyber Advisor can guide you through the additional measures needed to achieve Cyber Essentials – the government-backed certification scheme.

As confidence grows, so does the support. Cyber Essentials, designed by the NCSC, goes beyond the entry point of the toolkit. It demonstrates that your organisation meets the recognised UK minimum standard for cyber security and is protected against the most common threats.
