At the new site, you’ll also find the UK’s first Democratic Education Framework, developed by The Politics Project and the Electoral Commission.
The Framework is a practical tool for teachers and youth practitioners to help you reflect on your organisation’s democratic education provision, recognise what is working well and identify opportunities to strengthen your practice. Its six interconnected strands show you what high-quality impartial democratic education looks like in practice, supporting young people to understand how democracy works and how they can participate. The Framework includes practical resources for strengthening your practice, including case studies and delivery pathways.
