This guide is based on the findings of a two-year community-based and co designed research project focused on how to engage migrant families more meaningfully in youth work settings in the UK so that young people can thrive.
With over 140 participants, including parents, young people, youth workers, and stakeholders, we asked two key questions:
• How can youth work make a greater impact in young people’s lives?
• And could engaging families help achieve that goal?
