Digital technologies are not neutral.   They often encode and amplify existing racial inequalities, from policing and healthcare to employment and online platforms.   This article exposes how biased algorithms and data-driven systems reinforce systemic racism, urging action for tech justice and accountability. Activists and grassroots campaigners have long exposed how technology can reinforce structural racism. Their work is finally reaching mainstream attention, and this article builds on their insights to show how digital systems embed and amplify racial injustice for Global Majority communities.
