The Centre for Youth Voice Ambassadors met for the first time last week at a residential gathering, bringing together young representatives from across England and Scotland. Alongside a chance to build connections – including a round of mini golf – the group began shaping the Centre’s visual identity, mapping key stakeholders, planning the September online launch, and setting out approaches for blogs, campaigns, and communications. They also defined roles to lead on areas such as communications, research, advocacy, and events. This group will play a central role in ensuring the Centre’s work is youth-led and informed by the lived experiences of young people.

We encourage practitioners to connect with the Centre in the coming months – whether by contributing resources, collaborating on upcoming projects, or reaching out to speak about their own projects – to help strengthen and amplify youth voice across the sector.
