We are seeking an enthusiastic person from the private, public or charitable sector who would like to join our present Trustees as Treasurer. You will play a key role in supporting with our finances by keeping your fellow trustees updated on YWU’s finances, ensuring that financial insight informs the Board’s strategic thinking, and working with senior management and the Finance Officer, who manages the everyday finances and produces monthly accounts and board reports. Key skills are having an eye for the details and being able to explain figures / data to those less familiar with figures.
We welcome applications from people with experience in youth work, VCSE or public sector, with finance experience. As we look to diversify our Board, we welcome applications from first-time trustees and from under-represented groups to help YWU reach its potential.
